Man dies after report of assault in Hastings

Police have launched a homicide investigation after a man died at an address in Hastings overnight.

Officers were called to a house on Willowpark Road after reports a man had been assaulted.

But the victim died at the scene, police said.

A 59-year-old man was arrested at the address and was helping with enquiries.

And a scene examination was being carried out.
