Crash closes SH3 near Ōtorohanga

Police say State Highway 3 in Waikato’s Ōtorohanga is closed between Cherry Road and Kio Kio Station Road following a crash.

A police spokesperson said the crash involved two vehicles, and was reported to police just before midday on Saturday.

They said one person was trapped in a vehicle and firefighters were working to free them.

Detours were in place and motorists in the area should expect delays.
