Man critically injured in reported Auckland stabbing

Police investigators will on Sunday examine a scene in Papatoetoe, Auckland where a man was critically injured last night.

Emergency services, reportedly including armed police, were called to an address on Wallace Road just after 9pm.

A police spokesperson said a man – known to the victim – was assisting the investigation and no one else was being sought.

The New Zealand Herald reported the victim was stabbed.
