NZ Gold Guitar Awards recap: Amy Maynard named overall winner

Amy Maynard from Hamilton has been named the overall winner of the NZ Gold Guitar Awards on Sunday night.

The awards are part of the 10-day Tussock Country festival and see some of our best performers flock to Aotearoa’s country music capital, Gore.

Gore’s Brendon Fairbairn was named the runner-up.

There were also prizes for best male and female solo, gospel, traditional, new country, country rock, duet, vocal group, New Zealand song and instrumental.
