One injured after biplane flips at Cromwell Aerodrome

One person has been injured after a vintage aircraft flipped over in Cromwell this afternoon.

The yellow Tiger Moth biplane was at the Cromwell Racecourse Aerodrome after flying in the Warbirds over Wānaka airshow this weekend.

Police said they were called to the runway just after midday and found the plane upside down.

Hato Hone St John said one person was moderately injured but did not need an ambulance.
